You’d be mad to not do Morocco this way! Nov 2025 • Family Sometimes it takes a leap of faith to fall into a treasure in tourism. But Moroccan Madness was just that. If you are looking for a balance of safety, adventure, and genuine experiences, Moroccan Madness might be your cup of mint tea. Our group of three took the 17 day tour, and we are so happy we did not take a shorter tour. The trip is well planned to lets you venture to the many landscapes of nature and culture. We had a private guide, driver, and met up with local guides and families at many locations who lived and worked there. So here’s a list of things to think about to help you make a decision about booking with Moroccan Madness. There were countless times when we really appreciated that we were not being herded around on a tour bus with limited time to explore and big groups trying to hear the guide. And you won’t be taken to shops you haven’t requested to go to. The tour prices are very reasonable given the service you receive. Plan for tips to local tour guides (and your main guide) and take all the optional tours you can fit in. They were ALL worth it. Accommodations are good, but don’t expect western standards. Be flexible. Be open. Eat wonderful food and enjoy Moroccan hospitality!

Youseff is an amazing guide and life long friend who makes you feel safe in every situation. He helps to shine the culture, shows you the true beauty of Morocco and teaches you things you wouldn't be able to read about. Also, his planning and organization are comforting. An incredible experience with a guide like Youseff cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

The country, culture and residents of Morocco are so amazing and beautiful it will be difficult to describe without a full pp presentation, but ill try! I can't recommend a trip to Morocco ENOUGH! Stunning landscapes, food and architecture! This experience was life changing as well as affirming! I'm so grateful to all the residents who made us feel welcome and were constantly feeding us! Haha! Can't say we went hungry! None of which would have been as wonderful if not for our adventure guide Youssef. He was on top of the business, taking care of our group and always made time for dancing and chatting! It was truly excellent to have met and traveled with him. REQUEST YOUSSEF to be your guide! A few tips: be aware of your surroundings, Morocco is a safe place generally but be a good tourist and learn some of the culture/language to communicate and as not to be a mark. I am a solo female traveler and decided I wanted to have a guide for my time in Morocco. After extensive research, reading reviews and itineraries, and price comparisons I chose MMA and I am so glad I did. This was the experience of a lifetime and one I will never forget. The trip was an incredible way to see so many things in such a short time, with so much knowledge and insider access provided by local guides who truly love their country and their jobs - and this love is contagious. I never could have had the same experience by trying to put this trip together on my own. It felt like having all the local secrets to myself. I would recommend this to anyone, from the beginner traveler to the most experienced traveler. Morocco is am amazing country and this is the way to see it.

Everything about this trip was really amazing. Morocco is such a beautiful country, with such friendly people and interesting cuisine. Youssef was my guide and he was one of the best tour guides I have had. He was very personable and so easy to talk to. He not only made it feel like a close friend giving you a tour, he also gave great information about the culture and history, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a taste of morocco.

I intentionally booked Morocco during Ramadan so that I could get a better understanding of their holy month, and before I left my oldest son asked me if I was going to fast while I was there. I thought about it a lot and said yes. So, on the first day, I told Youssef of my intention to fast alongside him for the trip and he was really touched. Now, in hindsight, that was one of the best travel decisions I've ever made. Each night I was invited with Youssef, our driver and other Muslims (cook, receptionist, other guides or drivers, waiters, restaurant owners, hotel owners, or locals) to Iftar (evening fast break). It was an amazing experience to be invited into their lives and see how real Moroccans live. The food changed slightly from night to night, and always included staples like dates, soup and almond deserts. But the constant was the overwhelming hospitality. I felt welcomed with open arms. I also got to know Youssef quite well with so much extra time with him. We talked about travel, family, politics, religion, food, sports, his upbringing in the Sahara, education, and everything Morocco has to offer. By day four he was calling me his brother. By day eight, he invited my family to stay with his family if we ever come to Morocco again. And by day 15, we both cried as we hugged goodbye. I will be in touch with Youssef for the rest of my life. I consider him family. If, like me, you're travel goals are to experience the local customs and get a better understanding of the country and culture you're visiting, then I would highly recommend a trip with Youssef during Ramadan if your stomach can manage a little fast from sun up to sun down.

I have visited 60 countries, but my las experience in Morocco was more than amazing. But the great experience was beyond because the guide Youssef, he is such a human and knows every corner in Morocco like no one. Eating with traditional families, pool by the Saharah desert, driving through the Atlas Mountains, learning about the oldest uomo Sapiens fossil founded in Morocco and of course visiting all the beautiful cities. I took a solo tour with Morocca Madness Adventures for 16 days starting from Casablanca and finishing in Marrakech. My tour guide was Nicola English speaking wonderful, friendly and very professional in organizing the tour. I enjoyed every aspect of the tour incredibly. Nicola's knowledge, organization and perfection in every aspect of the tour was outstanding. This tour was personalized for what I wanted to see and experience in each stops from culture, food and visiting important sites as well as interacting with people through local guides that was provided. I have seen so much and have enjoyed every aspect of this tour and exploration that it will take me long time to fully process what I have seen and the experiences that l have had during my tour.
