Enjoy the stunning scenery and the fresh mountain air as you hike through valleys and along rivers. Passing through the Berber villages of the region until you reach the summit of the highest peak. Well worth the effort for the spectacular view at the top.

Day 1 City of Marrakech
Arrive at any time. Be ready for your welcome meeting and briefing at 6pm.
Day 2 City of Marrakech to Tizi Oussem
Leave city of Marrakech and transfer to the mountain village of Imi Oughlad and enjoy a long trek up to the Tizi ‘n Tacht Pass(2200m). Enjoy the beautiful view of the gorges of the National Park Toubkal before descending into the Azzadene Valley, the most authentic valley of the Toubkal Massif. As we descend, we pass by the cultivated terraces of olive trees and apple trees and spend the night at the village of Tizi Oussem.

Day 3 Tizi Oussem 1850 to TIizi N’Mzek 2500m to Aroumd (Aremd) 1900m
Today is a full day of trekking through villages on the northern slopes of Mount Toubkal.

Day 4Aroumd (Aremd)/Mt Toubkal Base Camp
Trek through the beautiful Mizane Valley, ascending and passing the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, before arriving at our Mt Toubkal base camp.

Day 5 Mount Toubkal Base Camp to Mount Toubkal Summit
Savour the satisfaction of the ascent as you trek towards the summit and the spectacular views across the valleys below. You will reach the  summit at 4,167m (13,671 ft) Mount Toubkal today. Return to base camp for the night.

Day 6 Mount Toubkal Base Camp to City of Marrakech
Trek back down to the village of Imlil before travelling back to Marrakech for a free afternoon. We will have our last dinner together tonight. There is the option to experience a traditional Moroccan hammam this evening. The hot steam baths, massages and body scrubs make it the ideal place to relax and unwind after your trekking adventure.

Day 7 City of Marrakech
Depart at any time. You can extend your stay if you’d like to discover more of Morocco. We can help with onward travel, accommodation or advice. If you need anything just let us know.

Note: The best clothing for trekking is either wool or synthetic materials in layers, as this is quick-drying and can keep heat in better. We suggest a base-layer, then a mid-layer such as a light fleece jacket or similar, then a windproof and waterproof layer.
