Day 1 Casablanca
Arrival: welcome meeting at 6pm in the lobby
Morocco Uncovered Optional extra Hassan II Mosque:
Depending on your arrival time we can organize a visit to the Hassan II Mosque.
Day 2 Casablanca to Chefchaouen
Breakfast this morning before we head off to Chefchaouen via Tangier. Enjoy a scenic but long drive (6-7 hrs.) through the Moroccan countryside.Â
On the way we will stop at Cap Spartel, the closest point between the continents of Africa and Europe. The place where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean meet.

We will also visit the Caves of Hercules and hear about the many legends attached to this place. We will have time for lunch in the medina of Tangier before meeting our local guide.
 Enjoy the sights and sounds of the medina as we wind our way through the narrow streets all contained within the 15th century Portuguese walls.

We finish the day in Chefchaouen where you have free time to explore the narrow winding alleys of the medina, walk up to the Spanish mosque for sunset and enjoy stunning views of the blue city.
Day 3 Chefchaouen
This morning we head to Akchour. We will drive through the majestic Rif mountains to the town of Akchour where we will hike along the beautiful river.

We can swim in the water and enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna of the Rif valley. We will have lunch in Akchour before heading back to Chefchaouen where you will have free time to do some shopping
 Continue exploring the blue and white alleys of the medina or take a traditional mint tea in a local cafe and watch the world go by.

Day 4 Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis
This morning you’re heading on to Fes. You’ll continue on your adventure stopping at Volubilis where you will visit the oldest Roman ruins in Morocco.
You will arrive in Fes late afternoon.
Day 5 Fes
This morning it’s time to explore some of the 9000 streets of the medina with a local guide. He will make sure you get just a little bit lost….

You’ll experience the sights and sounds of the old medina including the oldest tanneries in Morocco, soak up the atmosphere of the local market and marvel at the Madrassa and the oldest university in Morocco.
Day 6 Fes to Sahara Desert
Today you will leave Fes early for a long drive (9-10 hrs.) to the magical Sahara, crossing the unique and varied landscapes that make up Morocco.

You will pass through the alpine town of Ifrane and hopefully catch a glimpse of the Barbary apes in the cedar forests of Azrou (the apes are wild animals and so sightings are not guaranteed).
 You’ll make plenty of stops on the way including a picnic lunch in a beautiful oasis outside Midelt.

Day 7 Sahara Desert
You have free time after breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel at 12pm and store our bags(don’t forget to prepare your overnight bag for the camp!)

Take advantage of the pools and relax until it’s time to leave for the camp.
This evening you will experience a traditional Moroccan evening of dancing and drumming around a campfire.
Day 8 Sahara Desert to Skoura
Today you will leave the beauty of the desert for Skoura and the amazing Kasbah Ameridil, an oasis and one of the best-preserved Kasbahs on the route of a thousand kasbahs.

We’ll spend some time exploring Tinghir and visit the gorge an amazing sight. A series of limestone river canyons or Wadi in the High Atlas Mountains. The gorge is over 400 metres high and looks almost prehistoric.
Day 9 Skoura to Marrakech
Today you say goodbye to Skoura and head for your final destination, Marrakech. We’ll stop for lunch on the way with a family.

We’ll head straight to Majorelle to check out these stunning botanic gardens. Created in the early 1920’s by Jacques Majorelle.Â
Check out the Jemaa El Fna Square later for those last-minute souvenirs and marvel at the pop-up restaurants and entertainment that appear as if by magic.
Day 10 Marrakech
Today after breakfast we will meet our local guide for tour of the medina. Wander the bustling streets of the souk and visit the Bahia Palace.

Visit the spice and olive markets and the famous home of Mechouia, lamb cooked to perfection in an underground oven. Free time this afternoon to finish exploring and do those last-minute things before our last dinner.
 Day 11 Marrakech
Your Morocco Uncovered adventure is over. Depart for home from Marrakech or Casablanca. You can extend your stay if you’d like to Uncover more of Morocco.
